Noooo, she may very well know him! The Doctor can’t see the Ponds again, but it was never said River couldn’t. She totally knows her brother. (The alternative is just too sad.)

Pond feels everywhere today.
It suddenly hit me: Amy said that- “Changing the future, it’s called marriage”- because she’d heard River say it. In what she thought might have been her and her husband’s last moments, she was taking a piece of her daughter with them.
Like all good parents, she didn’t just love her child, she learned from her.
can we talk about the fact that rory didn’t get to say goodbye to the doctor or his own daughter

He might have still seen River, though, she might have been able to visit them even if the Doctor couldn’t.
